The Restoration and Recovery Foundation along with our Co-Applicant, The Exchange Club of Las Vegas NV are in collaboration with a number of Cooperative Partners within the city of Las Vegas that are dedicated to fostering resilient, healthy families through a comprehensive array of services and programs. Our holistic community project aims to expand The Owens Project to better serve the diverse needs of our community.

By expanding our footprint to include Modular Classrooms and enhancing our existing programs, we aim to create a nurturing environment where families can thrive, and individuals can achieve stability and self-sufficiency.

Reducing Homelessness: By providing comprehensive support services, we help reduce the number of homeless individuals on the streets, contributing to a safer community.

Freeing Up Resources: Our programs alleviate the burden on law enforcement and other public agencies, allowing them to allocate their resources more effectively and focus on other critical areas of public safety.

Focused on Three Missions of Need

Mission 1: Empowerment and Support for the Homeless Population

Transitional Housing: Along with our partners, we assist in providing a safe and temporary accommodation for individuals and families transitioning from homelessness to permanent housing.

Community Food Bank: Ensure access to nutritious food, helping to alleviate hunger and support physical well-being.

Professional Counseling: Offer mental health services to support emotional and psychological well-being.

Offer classroom instruction on Job Skills, Dressing for Success, and Soft Skills Training. Additionally, provide interactive workshops on resume writing, interview techniques, and effective communication. Incorporate role-playing scenarios to help students practice real-world situations, and invite guest speakers from various industries to share their experiences and insights. Ensure the curriculum is up-to- date with current job market trends and includes practical tips for networking and professional development.

Domestic Violence Prevention: Offer resources and support to prevent and address domestic violence, which can be a significant issue for individuals with a history of incarceration.

Parent Aide Program: Support and guide parents to strengthen family bonds and promote positive parenting practices, aiding in the reintegration process.

Benefiting Low- and Moderate-Income Persons: Our programs are designed to provide essential support and resources to low- and moderate-income individuals and families, helping them achieve stability and self-sufficiency.

Preventing or Eliminating Slums or Blight: By improving living conditions and providing safe, supportive housing, we contribute to the prevention and elimination of slums and blight in our community.

Meeting Urgent Community Development Needs: Our project addresses critical community development needs that pose a serious and immediate threat to the health or welfare of the community, particularly when other financial resources are not available to meet such needs.

Mission Statement: To inspire our communities to become better places to live by providing essential support services to families, preventing child abuse, and promoting healthy family dynamics.
