Field of Flags – An America 250 Tribute is a powerful patriotic community installation designed to honor veterans, active‑duty service members, first responders, and local heroes. As the United States approaches its 250th anniversary, this project provides an inspiring and educational experience that brings history, service, and community together in a visually striking way.
The display features hundreds of American and state flags arranged in precise rows, creating a moving tribute that symbolizes courage, sacrifice, and national unity. A centerpiece of the event is the collection of 26 historic flags that represent key chapters in America’s development. These flags serve as an engaging teaching tool for students, families, and visitors, offering a visual timeline of the nation’s evolution.
The display also includes the Freedom Shrine, a collection of beautifully reproduced historic documents such as the Declaration of Independence, the Constitution, and other foundational texts. Together, the flags and the Freedom Shrine create an immersive, educational environment that encourages reflection on civic ideals, American history, and the responsibilities of citizenship.
Events and ceremonies held throughout the display period bring together veterans, military families, first responders, community members, youth groups, civic organizations, and local leaders. Volunteers, including Walmart associates and local businesses, help install flags, support ceremonies, and welcome visitors.
By providing a free, accessible, and meaningful public experience, Field of Flags strengthens community pride, fosters patriotic education, and honors those who have served our nation—making it an ideal project for support during the America 250 celebration.

The America 250 Field of Flags 50/50 Raffle is a special patriotic fundraiser held in conjunction with the club’s America 250 Field of Flags celebration. This semiquincentennial event marks the 250th anniversary of the United States — a tribute to our country’s history, our veterans, and the freedoms that define us.
This is a true 50/50 cash raffle:
- 50% of the total proceeds will go to one lucky winner, and
- 50% will directly fund the Exchange Club’s Americanism initiatives, supporting programs that uplift communities, promote patriotic values, and help veterans and youth.
- Raffle to be held on July 4th, 2026 at 23:59PM.
- Participation is restricted to individuals who are physically present within the State of Nevada.

Flag Display Kit Program
To help communities create meaningful and patriotic displays, we offer American Flag Display Kits available on loan. Each kit includes 250 American flags (3′ x 5′) mounted on 8′ white PVC poles with 3′ rebar stakes. Kits are available for a twenty-day loan at a cost of $3,000, and our team can assist with planning, layout design, and installation guidance to ensure a successful display.
