Hope Starts Here is the Exchange Club of Las Vegas’s comprehensive initiative to address homelessness in Clark County by providing safe shelter, mental health care, food security, and job readiness support.

In partnership with Restoration and Recovery Foundation, Youth With A Mission, Setting the Captives Free, and Services and Assistance for Veterans with Emergencies the program offers emergency and transitional housing, trauma-informed counseling, daily meals, and employment pathways.

This grant will support the delivery of holistic, seven-day interventions for 100 people through the Hope Starts Here program. These intensive, week-long engagements will provide shelter, mental health support, meals, and job readiness services—helping participants transition from crisis to stability. By addressing the full spectrum of needs, we aim to restore dignity, foster resilience, and create lasting change in our community.

We anticipate directly impacting 25 individuals, as part of our broader goal to serve 100 people in the Hope Starts Here program. Each participant will receive seven consecutive days of comprehensive support, including shelter, meals, mental health services, and job readiness resources. This focused, week-long intervention is designed to provide immediate relief and lay the groundwork for long-term stability and self-sufficiency.

We will use both quantitative and qualitative metrics to evaluate success:

📊 Quantitative Metrics:
– 100 individuals placed in emergency, transitional, or permanent housing
– 50% of individuals receiving mental health or addiction support services
– 2,100 meals served or food packages distributed
– 80% of completing job readiness training or securing employment

🗣️ Qualitative Metrics:
– 95% Participant feedback and satisfaction surveys
– 5 Case studies highlighting individual success stories
– 2 Partner and volunteer testimonials

We will track progress through intake forms, service logs, and follow-up assessments at 30, 60, and 90 days.

How will it create a positive impact?
By addressing the root causes of homelessness and providing a holistic support system, “Hope Starts Here” will:
