Debbie Jackson is a dedicated mental health professional based in Las Vegas, Nevada, with extensive experience in counseling psychology, specializing in marriage and family therapy. Holding a Master of Counseling Psychology with a specialization in Marriage and Family Therapy from National University in Las Vegas, Debbie Jackson has focused intensely on trauma, becoming a specialist in this critical area.

In 2008, Debbie Jackson earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a minor in Addictions Treatment from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. This academic foundation paved the way for a career dedicated to supporting individuals, couples, and families through various challenges.

Professionally, Debbie Jackson has served as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Phoenix in Las Vegas from July 2013 to July 2018. In this role, responsibilities included developing course syllabi, employing diverse instructional strategies to engage students, collaborating with academic departments to enhance curriculum, and providing mentorship to students.

Since June 2015, Debbie Jackson has been the CEO of Stepping Stones Wellness & Therapy Center, LLC in Las Vegas. In this capacity, A. Jackson conducts psychotherapy sessions with individuals, couples, and families, performs bio-psychosocial assessments, provides individual and group counseling utilizing various therapeutic modalities, and collaborates with external agencies to support clients’ comprehensive needs.

From March 2011 to February 2019, Debbie Jackson served as the WIN (Women in Need) Court Coordinator II at the Las Vegas Municipal Court. This role involved acting as a liaison between program participants and the Municipal Court Judge, conducting assessments to determine appropriate levels of care, providing counseling, maintaining case records, and consulting with the Specialty Court Team to offer clinical recommendations.

Earlier in the career, from April 2007 to May 2009, Debbie Jackson worked as an Adolescent Service Coordinator and Alcohol and Drug Counselor the Community Counseling Center in Las Vegas. This role encompassed performing substance abuse evaluations, conducting individual and group counseling sessions, collaborating with various agencies, and contributing to policy development.

Additionally, between 2002 and 2007, Debbie Jackson was a Community-Based Instructor II at the University of Nevada Cooperative Extension in Las Vegas. Responsibilities included gathering statistical data for the Centers for Disease Control on cardiovascular disease prevention, facilitating focus groups, teaching health and nutrition classes, and organizing community health events.

Debbie Jackson holds licenses as a Marriage and Family Therapist-Intern and as an Alcohol and Drug Counselor-Supervisor in Las Vegas, Nevada.
